In 2020 my son, Joshua, now 11, started at Ace Models Pretoria East. He was the only boy in that specific age group. Lisa made him feel welcome and safe from the start. Little did I know that this was one of the best decisions that I have made.

Joshua joined ACE Models Pretoria East because of their holistic and child centered approach. Lisa’s whole mindset is to empower every child to be a better human being through modelling. She equips him with the necessary tools to be considerate to other people but at the same time to be a strong individual that will conquer his own fears and challenges. From the beginning Joshua showed a lot of potential and as time progressed he would sometimes get agitated at the lack of exposure. This was when Lisa stepped in to guide him and me.

Lisa explained to him that although he is ready he should be very selective in the opportunities that comes his way. She assured him that when the time is right she will guide him every step of the way. In 2023 Joshua signed with GAPA Model Agency under the guidance of Lisa.

Lisa is an amazing person. Her approach to children comes from her pure heart and the believe that every person deserves to be happy in this world. She is a formidable woman who leads by example. Joshua has grown emotionally and thrives under the guidance and support of Lisa. Joshua has learned so much from Lisa. Their journey is still continuing. I don’t know what the future holds in terms of Joshua’s modelling career but one thing is for sure, Lisa will be with him every step of the way to support and guide him.

My name is Mia, I’m an international model. I grew up in South Africa and currently reside in New Zealand. I started modelling at the age of 10 where I competed in numerous pageants and beauty competitions. In 2019 I competed in the annual Miss Teen SA where I took home the crown. I moved to New Zealand, and I’m currently signed with a top agency in New Zealand.

I started my modelling journey with Ace Models Pretoria East at the age of ten. I didn’t have any previous experience with modelling before I joined Ace Models. Over the course of three years at Ace Models, I had all the necessary modelling training. I was taught ramp walking skills and good public speaking skills. With Ace Models I was also exposed to many opportunities like photoshoots and competitions.

I remember walking into Ace Models Pretoria East for the first time and being greeted by a very friendly face. Little did I know what a big role she would play in my life. From the very first interaction I had with Lisa; I knew I would be able to learn a lot from her. I used to be a very shy girl but with Lisa’s mentorship I have grown into an incredibly confident and sophisticated young adult.

I have learned so much under Lisa’s guidance and I continue to learn from her every day. She has taught me many valuable lessons that I continue to live by. She has also helped me develop and evolve within my modelling career by training and exposing me to many rewarding opportunities. Lisa has an enormous passion for working and helping young individual girls like me, to learn how to grow into beautiful young ladies and to have the necessary tools to achieve that. She has truly played such a big role in who I am today.

Under Lisa’s guidance and mentorship over the past 5 years of my life I have not only grown as a model but also as an individual into a much more confident and independent young girl. I continue to learn from her, and I know that she has the ability to make a difference in the lives of many other young individuals.

Vanya’s rise to modelling success is a captivating story of talent, dedication, and mentorship through ACE Models PTA East, under the expert guidance of Lisa.

Under Lisa’s mentorship, Vanya swiftly sharpened her modelling skills and gained the confidence needed to navigate the competitive fashion industry. Her career skyrocketed as she became a prominent face for esteemed brands like Lady Rosella and Hummingbird apparel.

Lady Rosella, known for its elegance, and Hummingbird apparel, a trendsetting brand, both saw Vanya as the perfect embodiment of their aesthetics.

Her versatility and grace made her a sought-after model, contributing significantly to the success of these renowned fashion labels.

Hi, I am Katlego Modise, a professional model. I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Pretoria. I started my modelling journey in 2018, at the age of 17 with Ace Models Pretoria East where I met my model coach Lisa Robertson.

I was taught ramp work from the simple yet complicated walk for the runway to the bit more complicated pageant walk to the presentations that helped boost my confidence and the interactive workshops that allowed me to work on my networking skills. As an inspiring model who was in training, it was a bit overwhelming but having Lisa by my side made everything much easier. A role model who is compassionate, innovative and a leader. Even with a class full of models, she makes sure every model gets the right amount of attention and assistance that they need.

Ace Models Pretoria East built the foundation of my modelling career and exposed me to multiple opportunities.

I have participated in various fashion shows such as the Vega Johannesburg fashion show, the Bloss Matric Dance Expo Fashion Show, the ACE Models Conference Fashion Show and the ACE Models Dipped In Black Fashion Show. I have also worked with designers such as Gerrit Pienaar and Tailord Black.
I was also the Face Of Dreamgirls SA 2019 and Opulent Models South Africa Beautiful Fresh Face 2022 Winner. I furthered my career into commercial modelling as I am now signed with The Model Squad and have worked with brands such as Protex, Johnnie Walker, Dark and Lovely, Ankara Textiles, Karl Lagerfeld, Gert Johan Coetzee, Lika clothing and Rosella.
My modelling experience has been greatly impacted by Lisa for the past 6 years. I appreciate her steadfast help.
All her time, energy and devotion in helping me improve my skills and perfect my craft. I am appreciative of the beneficial influence she’s had on my growth in my career and on me as a young woman. I appreciate her being a role model for me in my modelling career. Her Influence has left a lasting impression. 

Ilané Liebenberg turning 18 from Pretoria started modelling at the age of 13.

Modelling with Lisa learned her about the importance of being authentic to yourself and doing jobs for brands that align with your own identity because you are building yourself as your own brand.

She is grateful for the skills that Lisa taught her and opportunities she provided her with.
She learned determination and confidence skills as well as how to handle castings and interviews.

She worked with brands like Gary Rom Hair, Karl Lagerfeld, Gert Johan Coetzee, Naked-i and Rubicon.

Our experience with Lisa has been nothing short of magical.

My little one, who had zero experience in modelling, had two flash sessions with Lisa right before the modelling audition, and the results were beyond our expectations.

Lisa is really nice and easy to talk to. Even though my little one didn’t know much about modelling, Lisa taught her in a way that made it easy to understand.

Because of Lisa’s help, my child got booked! Lisa is not just a coach; she’s like a helpful friend who teaches important things about modelling and being a good person.
